Catwizzle sez: its better to have Dollars than euros…Dollar sounds better and the exchange for Dollars is always much better than for euros. They change euro and Dollars sometimes still in the same countervalue!! it means 1 Dollar is 1 euro…its a joke…, but what you can do if you only travel with euros.. And forget complete CREDITCARDS and forget CASHCOUNTERS…they are not exist…maby 5! Ok, in the first Class Hotels they will accept Creditcards, we give you a list of all the hotels they acept creditcards..look under HOTELS in some weeks ) but cash is in Myanmar always better. One thing…dont forget that you need around 15 or 20 euros at the Airport when you departure the Country…

Catwizzle sez: thats in Bhamo a local ship , there you have to sleep with hundreds of people if you have a longer trip for example down to Mandaly. Shure you have a wonderful view on the river…but forget toilets and such things …I mean there are two of them for 150 people…
